For the third time this season, Wooley travelled to Ascot and for the third time returned home on the end of a loss.
Lucy Giles opened the scoring with her first goal for the club in the fifth minute following Chloe Merton intercepting a poor clearance by Ascot keeper Chloe Sadler and passing to Giles on the left wing who shot into Sadler’s top left-hand corner of the goal net.
The home team was level five minutes later through Chloe Ball and had two further goals disallowed for off-side before going into half time leading through a second goal five minutes before half time from Leah Robertson
Second half goals in the sixty-eighth by Olivia Glover and first minute of stoppage time through Sophie Doyle secured the Yellawomen’s win which could have been by a greater margin but for fine saves from Woodley keeper Jo Nowak-Allum.
